Job Description:

  1. Provide strategic advice to the project staff for the identification, notification and preparation of variations and claims for a time extension and associated loss and expense;
  2. Evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a wide range of transactions;
  3. Participating, as necessary, in developing the solicitation and writing all contractual correspondence and documentation as well as maintain contractual records and documentations control of all contract correspondence including subcontractors correspondences and reports;
  4. Review of any project related correspondence and proposing a suitable strategy for preparing the response and advising on potential commercial/ contractual implications arising therefrom;
  5. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to project staffs and to provide contract awareness, interpretation and advice to project team;
  6. Budget monitoring and analysis;
  7. Preparation of final accounts and variation submission;
  8. Assist in ISO audit and implementation;
  9. Under the WSH Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe:

  10. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Contract Management/Civil/Quantity Surveying or equivalent with at least 10 years’ relevant working experience;
  2. Preferably with experience in construction/civil engineering or related industry;
  3. Good people and communication skills with ability to interact with people of all levels;
  4. A good team player who possesses drive, initiative and ability to work independently;
  5. Resourceful, adaptable, well-organised and meticulous with an eye for detail;
  6. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment to meet tight deadlines; and
  7. Competent in PSSCOC.
